Scouts Association
Crown City Scouts Association (CCSA) is an association just like any other in the school setup though with a slight difference in its mode of operation. To start with, the Association has aims thus to develop the youth at their formative ages so that they become responsible citizens through physical, intellectual and spiritual development. It also plays a complementary role to the students and even the school as a whole by responding to different needs of different people.
Our mission is to contribute to the development and education of the young people and to play a constructive role in the society to create a better world. As law three of the scout’s law clearly dictates, “A scout’s duty is to be useful and helpful to others”, we join hands in the peace building mission ensuring we follow, keenly the footsteps of our founding father, Lord Baden Powell. Crown City Scouts Association is a group focused indeed and comprises very dedicated members.
Journalism Club
This is a club to behold that every student can directly appreciate the impact it has had on them as a whole. Just to mention a few, the club has its new anchors who deliver news on the current affairs to the student body on Mondays and Fridays.
The club is divided into two departments; Kiswahili and English. This has enabled it to closely work with the language department. It has contributed a great deal to the betterment of the language policy by organizing essay writing competitions and even organizing forums where students show their oral skills.
